In August 2010, THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU GMBH was awarded the contract for the conceptual and approval planning for the rehabilitation of the existing shaft (“Shaft 2”) of the Asse II facility. Furthermore, in January 2011, a consortium including THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU was awarded the contract for the conceptual and approval planning of a new shaft (“Shaft 5”).
