In July 2008, RAG tendered the sinking of a blind shaft at the West mine. For many years, the consortium “Wetter borehole F275” – consisting of THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU GMBH and Deilmann-Haniel Shaft Sinking GmbH – had been successfully awarded contracts by RAG for vertical development projects. For this demanding construction project as well, the client relied on the experience and expertise of this joint venture.
