Along with the quality of our services, our products and the company’s economic success, occupational safety and environmental protection are equally important corporate goals for THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU.
THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU has introduced an integrated management system (IMS) to support the effective fulfilment of company's requirements, contractual obligations toward our customers and applicable legislation. This system considers all relevant aspects of occupational safety, health protection, environment and quality.
Occupational safety, health and environmental protection as well as quality issues are integrated into all operational processes of the Company and are included in technical, economic and social considerations. Operational guidelines are also adhered to in these processes.
Prevention, including proactive measures to maintain the safety and health of employees and to preserve the environment, has a high priority in our company. Therefore, the highest requirements are implemented as the primary goal in every process.
The company’s management, with its role model function, is fully involved in the IMS. Consequently, the company ensures that all employees are informed, thoroughly trained and involved in the creation of the HSE policy, procedures and instructions.
The IMS is subject to continuous review for potential improvement. Continuous improvement of occupational safety, health protection, environmental protection and quality are the main focus.
